An Afternoon of Art and Conservation with Jeremy Russell - Public Reception

Join Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy and the Russell | Armstrong Gallery for the opening reception of Appalachian Sanctuary, a new exhibition by acclaimed painter Jeremy Russell.

Inspired by time spent on lands protected by Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy, this collection captures the beauty, character, and spirit of some of our region's most cherished places. Through expressive paintings created on-site at preserves across Western North Carolina and East Tennessee, Russell invites viewers to experience these special landscapes through light, movement, and memory.

A featured work from the exhibition has been designated to benefit Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy, with additional proceeds from artwork sales supporting SAHC's mission to protect clean water, farmland, wildlife habitat, and public access to the outdoors across Western North Carolina and East Tennessee.
